'Equal' by Tandav Films

The idea of apocalypse was an intriguing one and a chance to tell a story of humanity within it, very promising. This world is waging a battle right now, which is not between Good and Evil but between one set of belief vs another set of belief. Confronted with death, belief will collapse.

I liked the script because it dealt with such issues. Two men driven by their belief, having caused unmentionable harm to each other, question - Who was it for?

We also chose this script as I was working with non professional actors and having little dialogue was advantageous.

We shot this movie, with two actors and Me, behind the camera. My girlfriend did the make up.
The movie is made in a small community called Auroville with volunteers. As they had only few hours to spare, we shot the entire film in 3 hours at two different locations. Guerilla Style, of course. And then I did the whole post production in next two weeks. Another volunteer, Marie, offered her services as a Sound Mixer.

It amazes me every time, what a small community of people with no resources can produce. We are very happy with how it all turned out.

Hope you guys enjoy it as well.
