I like this, Helen - nice idea and nicely written - I like the idea of writing in a character who is oblivious to what is going on which makes me wonder how different the story would be if it were told from Abraham's perspective from the off, playing off his confusion about the modern world and the way modern people behave? Just a thought, but I do liek your script.

    Hi Helen,

I had read an earlier draft, and this one is certainly tighter and moves along nicely. Your idea, that we discussed, of a character switch, is interesting but I really think that the "old man of the woods" works here. In my mind, he is more of a tramp than a woodsman but obviously has some working knowledge of plants and a philosophy developed by many years off-grid.

Do you know of a wood with that view of a lake or will that need to ba added afterwards?

Looking forward to seeing this, or possibly helping get it made.
